The Tandem Skydive is by far the most popular way to make your first skydive. With minimal ground training, you are able to experience the exhilaration of freefall for nearly one minute before your tandem jumpmaster opens the parachute.

Our Tandem jump is by far the quickest, safest and most convenient way to experience the thrill of a real freefall skydive on your very first jump. At Skydive Monterey Bay we specialize in first time tandem jumps, and we take you on THE WORLD'S HIGHEST TANDEM JUMP!!! 18,000 FEET!!!

Skydive Monterey Bay is the best place in California to make your first tandem jump. After a 20 minute training and safety briefing you will completely understand the equipment and the sequence of events. You and your jumpmaster will board the WORLD'S FASTEST JUMP PLANE!!!.. wearing a dual harness assembly. Once you reach your jump altitude you will exit the aircraft securely harnessed to your instructor for an unbelievable freefall at 120 M.P.H!!!

After your parachute opens you will have a scenic 4 to 6 minute parachute ride. Because your instructor is with you all the way to landing, there is no need for you to worry about anything during your jump except to remember to relax and have fun!! Your instructor will take care of everything which will allow you to completely enjoy yourself!
